SCHOOL COUNCIL

At Tuesday’s School Council meeting, we discussed the opening of the Library Wellbeing Space and Sensory Garden, as well as feedback from the Canberra camp, which was positive overall. We also reviewed camp costs for parents and the school.

Additionally, we addressed the need for new members to join the executive PA team, as several long-serving members will be stepping down. Parent volunteers are essential for community events and fundraising efforts like the library refurbishment. For more information, visit the PA page or contact Mrs Jordan or me with any questions.

LIBRARY/WELLBEING & SENSORY GARDEN OPENING

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 13, 4:00 - 5:00 pm

Join us to celebrate these wonderful new spaces!

Nicole Werner, our local Member for Warrandyte, along with Jaime Noye from the Warrandyte Community Bank and representatives from the Warrandyte Diary, will be attending the official opening. Members of the PA and School Council will also be there to acknowledge the fantastic fundraising efforts of our school community for the Library Wellbeing Space and Sensory Garden.

THANK YOU

I’d like to thank Mrs Kourtessis, Mrs Gibson, Mr Churchward, Ren, Roy, and Angus for planting shrubs in the Sensory Garden ahead of tomorrow’s opening. Special thanks to Manningham Council for donating 50 shrubs and to Mr Smith for his ongoing maintenance support in caring for the garden. We are incredibly fortunate to have such engaged and active members in our school community.
