This term in Science, the Year 5 and 6 students have been investigating earthquakes and the ways earthquakes can impact people, structures and the earth’s surface. Students have enjoyed learning more about the earth’s layers and how the movement of the tectonic plates can result in earthquakes occurring. To complete our learning for this term, students are researching an earthquake that has occurred in history, looking at its causes and its effects.
