Environmental Council Resumes for 2026:
The Environmental Council has resumed for 2026. This year the Environmental Council will be continuing with existing projects:
- Planting of shrubs along the school boundary
- The school recycling
- The 10c Earn and Return container collection for St Vinnies
- Clean Up Australia Day
- Aussie Bird Count
- National Tree Day
Later in the year, the Environmental Council will be launching new initiatives.
As school is only just resuming, the Environmental Council encourages students to continue with the great work with the 10c recycling. We ask that all students place the 10c containers in the recycle bins in the classrooms or the 10c bins around the school, like the one shown in the photos below.
The Environmental Council is looking for volunteers. Volunteers are needed to join the school Recycle teams and the Environmental Field teams. The Environmental Council meets every Thursday, Second Break, in Lab 1.
