SchoolTV and Online Safety
As new platforms continue to emerge across gaming spaces, social media, and with the exponential growth of AI, it is more important than ever to have open conversations with young people about the importance of staying safe in digital spaces.
But as these technologies continue to grow and change, it is not unusual for parents to feel unsure about where to start - How do we stay up to date on new risks? What should we be looking out for?
To support families navigating these kinds of conversations, SchoolTV offers an extensive library of wellbeing resources designed to help parents better understand and communicate complex issues.
In relation to cybersafety, families can hear from industry experts, including police officers and digital parenting coaches, learn about the changing online landscape, access age specific resources, and explore the shared role schools and families play in keeping children safe online.
SchoolTV is free for Kilvington families through KCEE. New resources are regularly released, and you can sign up for alerts within topics of interest.
