Winter Concert: Save the Date

The Winter concert will give many of our entry-level ensemble groups an opportunity to perform to a supportive audience. Intermezzo Suzuki Strings, Klefs Choir, Years 1 & 2 Choir (all students in Years 1 & 2), Junior Strings, Kadenza Intermediate Concert Band, Junior Guitar Ensemble, Junior Percussion Ensemble and selected soloists will be performing.

Date: Thursday, 11 June 2026

Time: 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Venue: Dalton Hall

Booking of seats is not required.

VCE Music Performance Recital

Congratulations to our VCE Unit 1 musicians, who performed in their Semester 1 recital last Wednesday. The audience were treated to a range of musical styles, and all the students performed to a high standard that showcased their hard work and dedication.

Music Soirées

We have held two afternoon soirées so far this term, with close to thirty students sharing their performances with supportive audiences of family and friends. Congratulations to all those who have performed, and we look forward to hearing from more of our young musicians at future soirées.

Melbourne Youth Orchestra Winter School

Join the MYO 2026 Winter School from 7-11 July for a jam-packed week of music and fun!

Working with the state’s best conductors and educators, young musicians will experience a stimulating range of musical and social activities in an inclusive and collaborative atmosphere. This year, the camp focus is Concert Bands and Choirs. Applications close Friday 29 May at 5pm. 

State Music Camp

State Music Camp is being held at Melbourne Grammar School from 29 June to 3 July. The camp features a range of string ensembles and orchestras, with auditions held in late May.
