Lacrosse Tournament 2025

Last Friday the two Lacrosse teams travelled to Fawkner Park to compete in the SSV Lacrosse competition against many other schools throughout and on the other side of the city.

Congratulations to the girls and boys Lacrosse teams today who played in very hot conditions over 6 rounds of tough competition.

The girls won 3 out of 7 games to finish fourth place and to make the finals game 3rd vs 4th. The girls won that game 11-8 finishing overall 3rd place. Best on ground was awarded to Ella.

The boys had a hard pool and out of the 5 games they played they finished 4th overall. Pool B had 6 teams too, so BNPS made the first final seeded 8th and had to play the top seeded team. It was a good game, and we fought hard until the end coming away with a 7-10 loss. Boys finished 8th overall out of 12 teams. Best on ground was awarded to Harvey and Griffin.

Special thanks to Mike Cahill from MCC Lacrosse who helped out with the girls' team and Janine who was incredible with Lucas and assisting me with the boys' team.

St Johns - First Aid Training

Whole School

This week we welcomed St Johns First Aid to the school and all of our classes from Prep to Year 6 are learning age appropriate first aid procedures that we encourage the students to bring home to you so that they can discuss what they have learnt.  All of these skills could save someone’s life one day.
