Diocesan Athletics 

25 students represented our school at the ACS Athletics Carnival in Tamworth. It was a successful day with a few students placing in events and making finals. The whole team showed good sportsmanship and determination throughout the day.  

A big thank you to Mrs Bearman for managing the team and making sure everyone got to their events.  

A special mention to the following students on their achievements

Charlotte: 3rd - 1500m

Makenna: 4th - 1500m

Gus: 4th - 1500m

Georgie: 4th - high jump

Dexter: 1st - 100m, 1st - long jump, 3rd - high jump

Eddie, Charlie, Ryder & Dexter: 1st - jnr boys relay

Also, congratulations to Dexter for being awarded runner-up Junior Boy of the carnival, an outstanding achievement!

Netball Schools Cup

This week, 4 teams from years 3-6 travelled to Tamworth to play in the Schools Cup social competition. All teams played 6 games throughout the day and played well as a team. Despite the miserable weather, it was a well-organised and super fun day!

A huge thank you to staff for coaching and umpiring on the day, Miss McArdle, Mrs Phillips, Miss Bustard, Mrs Whyte and our wonderful parent helpers Hallie and Bindy.

Touch Gala Day

Unfortunately the NSW Touch Gala Day scheduled for 26th August has been cancelled due to a lack of numbers, but don't panic...there is an ACS Touch Gala day next term on the 30th October.
