ART FOR ALL Preserves Stall
Calling all jam-makers, picklers and jar-hoarders! 🫙 The ART FOR ALL preserves stall needs you!
This year we need your help on two fronts:
Empty Jars
- What: We need lots of 300 – 400g jars (think Bonne Maman jam jars, small goat cheese jars, or passata jars or small bottles for cordial. Empty, rinsed, and labels removed if you can manage it.
- Where: Drop them off to me or into the designated box in the FPS foyer.
Preserve Makers
Love to cook? Make a batch (or three) of something delicious for the stall. There’s no need to coordinate a big group jam session, just make what you can at home and drop it in.
Not sure what to make? The following items always sell well; but feel free to be creative:
- Jams and marmalades of all kinds.
- Chutneys and relishes (mango and tomato are always fair favourites).
- Pickles (cucumber, cabbage, onion, beetroot).
- Cordials.
Ingredients can be reimbursed if needed, just ask.
Get in touch if you can help in any way and I’ll add you to our preserves WhatsApp group, where I’ll share jars, lid-topper fabric and labels closer to the date.
Thanks so much!
