Divison Swimming

On Wednesday March 12 our BNPS swim team made their own way to the Carnegie Pool to compete for our school after placing first individually or as a relay team at the District event prior.  

 

We has some great results from everyone on the day- 

  • Girls 12/13 Freestyle- Pippa M swam an incredible race to finish in first place with a new pool record of 30:73s

  •  

  • WE WILL CELEBRATE PIPPA AT OUR NEXT ASSEMBLY! 

  • Girls 12/13 yr old freestyle team (Pippa M, Scarlett C, Sophie T and Olivia J) -  finished in 3rd place in time 2:34:92 

 

  • Boys 12/13 yr old freestyle team (Charlie D, Billy C, Raph J and Lucas K)- finished in 2nd place  in time 2:32:82 

 

  • Girls 12/13 Backstroke – Scarlett C finished in 6th place in 47:24s 

 

  • Boys 12/13 Backstroke – Raph J finished in 4th place in 44:44s 

 

  • Boys 12/13 Breaststroke- Charlie D finished in 4th place in 49:03s 

 

  • Girls 12/13 Butterfly- Pippa M finished in 2nd place in 36:13s 

 

  • Girls medley relay-(Pippa M, Scarlett C, Sophie T and Lila M finished in 5th place in 3:03:25 

 

  • Boys medley relay- (Charlie D, Ned V, Raph J and Billy C) finished in 2nd place in 3:01:39. 

 

A fantastic result from all our BNPS Division swim team and some very close races where we just missed out on going through to the Regionals. 

 

Pippa is our only swimmer to progress to the Regional swim meet at MSAC the last week of term and the BNPS community wish her all the best.

PE lessons week 8

 Softball  Victoria

This week we have been lucky to have some coaches from Softball Vic come and take the students from years 3-6 for a quick lesson on how teeball and softball are played with some fun introductory games and skill work.  

 

Thanks to Danielle and Leanne for helping out. IF any students are keen there are some come and try softball days in the school holidays. Please see Mrs Hall if you are interested.
