Another beautiful day in the sunshine for our Year 5/6 students. It was great to see everyone joining in and giving it a go!!

On Wednesday, our girls' tennis team walked down to the local Tennis club to compete in the Division Tennis Tournament. The girls worked hard and displayed great resilience and determination. Although the girls didn't win many, they all showed significant improvement throughout the day. Well done!

On Thursday, our 3/4 girls Hoop Time team went to Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre to compete in the Regional Hoop Time Finals. All 7 girls did an exceptional job and worked together in each game to put points on the board. The team showed fantastic communication in both offence and defence. The girls made it to the final and won by 1 point in a nail-biting final. Our team is now off to the State Finals on December 3rd.
Well done, girls. What a great achievement!!!
I would like to thank our Year 6 students, Eva, Addie, and Peyton, for coming along to coach and support. I would also like to thank all the parents who came along to help score and support throughout the day!!

Round two saw the battle between Thunder and Storm, Storm playing in their first match of the season and Thunder looking to gain their first win after the round 1 loss to Cyclones.
Thunder started strong right from the opening whistle with Skylar R combining with Aleah S, an important in after round 1, to get the first shot of the game. After a strong rebound, Baylah C opened the game's scoring with an excellent mid-circle goal. Storm worked hard to control much of the play on the court but just couldn’t score. Costly turnovers and perfect leads that went unseen by the player with the ball put the ball back in the Thunder’s hands and ultimately to Aleah S, who found her shooting eye, scoring 4 goals on 8 shots. Storm managed to open their scoring through Taj M, who energetically rebounded a Scarlett-Ava S miss to move the scoreboard along. Both teams went to their respective coaches, Thunder (Lottie C) and Storm (Ariah C), at half-time, with the score 5 – 1 in Thunder's favour.
Storm made changes to both ends, bringing on Parker S in Goal Shooter and moving Taj M and Levi N to the defence. Thunder changed their defensive line-up but left the leading forward set-up unchanged. Parker S had an immediate impact, scoring a goal and contributing to several forward attacks. The new defensive line-up for Storm managed to restrict Thunder's forward line supremacy to two goals in the second half. Thunder ran out 7 – 2 winners at the end of the game.
Best players:
Thunder – Aleah S, Skylar R, Baylah C
Storm – Levi N, Parker S, Scarlett-Ava S
Scoring:
Thunder – Aleah S (5 from 11), Baylah C (2/3)
Storm – Taj M (1 from 3), Scarlett-Ava S (0/2), Parker S (1/1)
