Be Awesome Day 2026
Friday 30th October will be our Be Awesome Day this year. Once again, our students will be running show stalls in a student-led ‘Show Day’.
In order for our kids to run stalls successfully, we need the help of our fabulous parent/carer community. We require donations of various goods and prizes. In your children’s cohort newsletters this week (Prep, 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6 pages in the newsletter), you will find requests for donations from each class. If you are able to help out, please bring donations into your by Friday 23rd October.
We also require your assistance with running stalls on the day. Your child’s classroom teacher will provide you with a roster closer to the date where you can indicate your availability. Sausage sizzle cooks are also required; a roster will become available on Compass closer to the date if you are available to assist.
Further details will come out via Compass in Term 4 closer to the date detailing tickets.
We thank you in advance for your support!

Risk Assessments for Camps and Excursions
Prior to any excursion or camp, a thorough risk assesment is documented using a DET template. Our risk mitigation planning considers factors such as weather, encounters with the public, animals, accidents, travel and activity specfic risks, to name a few. I review all completed risk assessments and share these documents with all adults attending the event and with School Council.
Hockey Champions
In Mr Smith's absence, I jumped at the chance to accompany the Girls Hockey Team at the Regional Tournament in Swan Hill last week. Our team dominated on the day, displaying outstanding teamwork and sportmanship. Congratulations to the team for progressing to the State Finals. A big thanks to Narelle Dalley for coaching on the day and to the parents and family members who travelled across to support the team.
