Key Dates for 5/6 students and families
- Order your fundraising Walkers donuts by the 24th August
- 27th August Chris Kennett Incursion
- 28th August Book Week Dress Up Day
- Students can enter the SRC 'mural' competition by the 31st August for our mural on the shipping container
- 9th – 11th September Melbourne Camp
- 14th September Division Athletics (selected students only)
Important Information
- All Grade 6 forms for Secondary School are now overdue
- Camp medication forms are due by the 4th September
What we have been up to
Upcoming Learning
Over the next fortnight we will be:
- Looking at symmetry, angles and 2D shapes in Mathematics
- Completing our novel study, A Glasshouse of Stars
- Continuing our ‘2-person’ narratives during our writing sessions
- Completing a Science Week activity linked to our novel study, exploring different types of seeds
- Talking about and creating role-plays around positive self-talk in Respectful Relationships
- Talking about and getting excited for camp!
