Year 10 Immunisations

Due to a large number of students being unavailable on the original date, we've had to move the immunisation day to Term 4. 

Please note the new date: 

Thursday 9th of October 

The link below is still the same as previously sent out. If you have already submitted your response, there is no need to resubmit your consent. Year 10 students will be receiving the following vaccine: Meningococcal ACWY (MenQuadfi) (one dose). For more information regarding the vaccine, please click here. 

All students must have parents/guardians complete the online digital consent form indicating consent/non consent (Yes or No) for your student to receive the immunisation.

If you wish to make changes to your consent or withdraw it, please refer to your Whitehorse Immunisation confirmation email.

If you have any queries, please contact us or preferably, please contact Whitehorse City Council's Immunisation Team directly on (03) 9262 6197, as VSC staff do not have access to the Whitehorse Online Portal.

Student illness during the school day

If your student is feeling unwell during the school day, they are to go directly to the First Aid Centre, where they will be cared for and monitored. Staff will determine if the parent/guardian will need to be contacted. Staff will sign students out of the school if they leave through First Aid.

Student Medication

Please note that First Aid staff cannot dispense any medication, including paracetamol, without a completed authorisation form that accompanies medication.

If your student has a medical condition, please ensure this information has been communicated to our staff. We have reached out to many families for updated medical information recently and would appreciate any completed forms returned.
