School Council

Dear Fellow Parents, 

It was an absolute privilege to be part of the audience taking part in our Fathering Project presentation on the importance of role modelling. 

This discussion with approximately 20 fathers from our community was an important event, as we want fathers to not only participate in our school, but to be the best dads they can be and these dads were certainly committed to that. 

Topics on the night included how to de-escalate issues, to how we deal with stress at home and in the environment. From how we respectfully treat females, to how we contribute to our local community. Importantly, it also included how we as fathers look after ourselves physically, emotionally and socially, and how our children see and copy those healthy (or unhealthy if we are not careful) traits.

This week, all families will be sent the Parent Opinion Survey via XUNO.  This survey is a chance for all parents to have their voice heard in how the school is operating, what it is doing well, and what it can improve upon. Please take the time to fill in the survey, as the results are used the school, and school council to continue our improvement journey.
