Welcome back to Term 3. I hope all families enjoyed a restful and refreshing holiday break and are ready for another exciting term of learning and growth. I would like to extend a very warm welcome to the new students and families who have joined our school community throughout Term 2 and at the beginning of Term 3: Arlo, Zoe, Darcy, Leila and Chenoah. We are delighted to have you with us, and we look forward to getting to know you and supporting your educational journey.

We continue to receive strong interest from prospective families seeking enrolment at our school, and I would like to thank our community for your ongoing support and advocacy. The positive experiences and feedback shared by our current families play a significant role in helping others learn about our school and make informed enrolment decisions. LifeChanger Program Builds Connections and Resilience in Year 6

In the final week of Term 2, our Year 6 students participated in the second workshop of LifeChanger's Life Changing Journey Program. Across four workshops, students explore emotions, resilience, personal strengths and the importance of building meaningful connections with others. The program aims to foster confidence, resilience and self-awareness, helping to lay the foundation for future leaders.

During this session, students reflected on the values and strengths that shape who they are. By recognising the common qualities and experiences they share with their classmates, they discovered new opportunities to strengthen both existing friendships and new connections.

Through a range of collaborative challenges and team-based activities, students further developed their problem-solving and communication skills. These experiences also highlighted the important role that personal values play in shaping the choices and decisions we make each day. We look forward to seeing our Year 6 students continue to grow and develop through the remaining workshops in this valuable program.

Lion’s Public Speaking Competition

Congratulations to our School Leader, Cleo Guinan, who proudly represented Moama Anglican Grammar at the Lion’s Public Speaking Competition in Echuca. Speaking on the topic of Hanli Prinsloo, she delivered her prepared speech with confidence, poise and enthusiasm. She demonstrated the courage required to present in front of an audience and communicated her ideas clearly and thoughtfully. We are incredibly proud of the way she embraced the opportunity, represented our school with pride and exemplified the qualities of leadership, resilience and determination. Well done on your wonderful achievement and for being such a positive ambassador for our school.

Jump Rope for Heart

Jump Rope for Heart has officially kicked off at Moama Anglican Grammar! This fun and active program, run by the Heart Foundation, encourages students to be active, develop healthy habits, learn new skipping skills and raise funds for lifesaving heart research and education. Our goal is for our Primary School Heart Heroes to raise $8,000 by the end of Term 3.

Did you know? Moama Anglican Grammar has proudly participated in Jump Rope for Heart for 21 years, raising an incredible $88,000 for the Heart Foundation. We are proud of this longstanding tradition and look forward to building on this remarkable achievement in 2026.

Early Stage 1 Assembly

It was wonderful to come together on Wednesday for the first Early Stage 1 Assembly of Term 3. During the assembly, we warmly welcomed Mrs Cosgriff, who will be teaching KC for the next two weeks while Ms Gregory is on leave, and Miss Webb, a Year 10 MAG student who is completing a week of work experience in Kindergarten. We are excited to have both Mrs Cosgriff and Miss Webb working alongside our Kindergarten students and know they will be warmly welcomed by the students. A special congratulations to our Kindergarten Superstar Award recipients: Lilly, Sadie J, Charlie, Sadie P, Violet and Charlotte. Well done on your achievements!

As a stage, we also began building excitement for our upcoming 100 Days of Kinder celebration. Students enjoyed counting down the days until this important milestone and discussing the special activities and dress-up ideas planned for the occasion. We look forward to celebrating this memorable achievement together in Week 4.

Message from the Office

As we start Term 3, we kindly ask for families’ support in ensuring students are wearing the correct formal winter uniform each day. Wearing the uniform with consistency helps promote a sense of pride, belonging, and unity within our school community.

A friendly reminder that the approved uniform includes blue stockings or plain blue knee-high socks. Short blue socks that show the leg or socks that have logos on them are not part of the formal winter uniform.
