Year 8 Boys Football – Black Ranges Competition

Our Year 8 Boys Football team enjoyed a fantastic day of football yesterday, taking on Marian College, Ararat High School, Stawell and St Brigid's.

The boys started the day strongly with a convincing win over St Brigid's before facing Marian College in what proved to be the match of the day. In a tough and hard-fought contest, the team held their nerve to come away with a terrific nine-point victory.

Confidence continued to build throughout the day, with the boys finishing the carnival in style by recording two more impressive wins over Ararat High School and Stawell.

The team displayed excellent teamwork, determination and sportsmanship across all four games, earning an unbeaten record for the day and securing progression to the Greater Western Region Finals in Ballarat.

Congratulations to all players on an outstanding performance, and we wish them the best of luck in the next stage of the competition.
