Primary Loddon Mallee Regional Track and Field Championships

The Primary Loddon Mallee Regional Track and Field Championships were held on Monday 14 October in beautiful weather at the Flora Hill Athletics Track. Most of the competitors improved their results from the recent Divisional Track and Field, with some performing their personal best results in their event – a wonderful achievement and something to be proud of.

Congratulations to the following students for their participation, willingness to perform at their best, and excellent representation of Girton Grammar School:

  • Poppy Alexander: Long jump, 10th in region
  • Abigail King: 200m, sixth in region
  • Raffaello Griffiths: High jump, third in region
  • Georgie Doherty: 100m and 200m (ill and not able to compete)
  • Stella Mcintosh: Long jump, sixth in region
  • Lauren Davenport: 200m, fourth in region
  • 11-year-old boys 4x100m relay (Zach Dyer, Otto Chapman, Peter Smith & Hugh Lewis): third in region
  • 12-year-old girls 4x100m relay (Priya Lewis, Dulcie Clark, Alice McIntosh & Lauren Davenport): First in region

The two best results in each event will go on to compete in the State Track and Field Championships, which will be held in Melbourne on 6 November. We wish our 12-year-old girls 4x100m relay team well. Congratulations to all students involved!

Hi families,

We have had a great time in OSHC!

Our flower science has worked so well and is now finished. The highlighter liquid and glowing flowers continue to amaze children and families.

Children have had a lot of fun playing chess, Guess Who and Connect Four, testing out problem-solving skills, working hard on using their best strategies and learning more by observing others play.

Some children tested out our new mini basketball arcade game, seeing how many times they could get the ball into the hoop before the timer went off.

Parent portal, bookings and cancellations

A reminder to ensure details are correct, especially phone numbers and medical, diagnosis information and documentation. Ensuring your child/ren are booked into sessions in advance ensures the service runs smoothly for all educators and children.

Notifying the service of cancellations as soon as possible ensures the service runs smoothly and families do not receive phone calls to locate their child/ren.
