Congratulations to...

Congratulations to Ruby Conti (12 Millward), who competed at the Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships in Pesaro, Italy, over the September holidays. 

 

Her trio achieved a personal best score, placing 21st. Her Aerodance Group finished an impressive 12th, earning a place for Australia at the World Games. This is the first position at the World Games for an Australian team in over a decade! 


Congratulations to Charlotte Diss (5 Frew) and her Bendigo Calisthenics Club teammates for winning the Calisthenics Victoria NW2 Sub-Juniors State Championship in Burwood during the school holidays. 

 

Charlotte and her team have been the aggregate winners in all their competitions so far this season.


Congratulations to Ben Lim (11 Frew) and Ariya Marwood (9 Millward),who recently competed in the Australian Youth Volleyball Championships in Bendigo. 

 

Ariya represented Victoria in the U15 girls division and her team placed fifth. Ben's U18 boys team placed third, winning bronze for Victoria. 

 

Congratulations to both Ben and Ariya! 


Congratulations to Henry Allan (10 Jones),who has returned from New Zealand after competing in the 2024 Tri Series in Hamilton from 4 to 6 October. The Tri Series is an event that has been specifically designed to introduce young Australian and New Zealand swimmers to the demands of performance racing in an international environment. 

 

Swimming Victoria took a team of 18 swimmers and five coaches to compete at Waterworld Te Rapa. Each swimmer was required to race in two individual events and one relay in every match. Henry swam the 200m, 100m and 50m backstroke; the 50m and 100m fly; 25m underwater; and 50m skins. He also joined his team for several relays.  


Congratulations to Old Girtonian and former School Vice-Captain Alessia McCaig, who has won bronze at the World Cycling Championships in the Team Sprint. 

 

While there are still a few events to go, we want to congratulate Alessia on her amazing achievements so far! 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Congratulations to April Theobald (5M Jenkin) recently competed in a Junior Excellence Swimming Competition, competing against other children from across the state. 

 

April is looking forward to her next competition- where she will represent District 15 against outer districts in Victoria. Good luck, April!
