SWPBS Update

In 2025, our implementation of School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) at Carlton Gardens Primary School has led to strong gains across school culture, wellbeing and learning. Tier 1 fidelity increased from 45% to 73% and staff confidence in SWPBS practices improved, reflected in an 89% participation rate in the Self-Assessment Survey and significant growth in school-wide systems (from 48% to 75%). Key achievements were supported by the number of team meetings, time dedicated to staff PL and investment in staff to collaborate and lead the framework across the school. 

Overall, SWPBS continues to strengthen consistency, predictability and connectedness across the school, contributing to improved student wellbeing and learning. You can read more in our SWPBS Annual Evaluation Report.
