GEC Mural

The GEC mural project is making great progress. We have moved onto the next stages, tracing and beginning the painting. 

The 28th November was dedicated to tracing out all the languages that will be on our mural. We would like to thank everyone who assisted with clarifications of the spelling and grammar to ensure the mural will have the correct representations of the languages. A special thanks to Robert for organising the tracing, as well as Mr Ebert and Keiko Gerszonovicz for their work to ensure the large task of organising over 50 languages went smoothly.

On Friday 5th December Robert joined us once again to begin the most exciting stage of the mural: the painting. Along with a team of artists and a wonderful parent volunteer, we have begun work on the background of the mural. This will prepare for the languages of the mural to be painted on in the coming days. With that we remain on track for completion by the end of the year. The unveiling ceremony will take place in early 2026 and all members of the GEC community are warmly invited to attend. We would once again like to extend our thanks to everyone’s continued support in making our mural happen.
