Children in rooms 28 and 29 recently made muffins - they were very excited and loved the final product too.
Our whare pukapuka/library is open every lunchtime. We have wonderful student librarians who demonstrate their leadership by tidying the shelves and issuing books weekly. Here are some students enjoying some quiet time during lunchtime.

Kay Luv is an awesome member of our Support Staff. She is also the coach of Te Pai Tennis Club, which includes several children from Western Heights, as well as her two children, Asia and Europe, who attend here.
Over the holiday period, they competed in some pretty serious tournaments. Here is Kay's post on that.
An historic moment for Elite Tennis... go Western Heights! No other club, academy or school has achieved this level of success in the summer NZ Tournament season. We had competitors from across NZ, Australia, and top academies.
Not sure when a moment like this will happen again, so we are soaking up the glory.
