Physical Education & Sport 

As we wrap up another great term, I’m excited to share some of the amazing things happening in our Physical Education department.

Athletics Carnival: Our recent Athletics Day was a big success. Seven of our talented students advanced through to  the Woodlands District Championships at Meadow Glen International Athletics Track, representing Roxburgh Park Primary School. They gave outstanding performances! Hopefully we see our team advance through to Regionals. Well done to everyone for their hard work!

Hotshots Tennis Team: Our Hotshots Tennis Team played against other schools at Greenvale Tennis Club. Their dedication and enthusiasm for the sport were impressive. It was a great day of sportsmanship and fun for our students.

Looking Ahead to Term 4: Next term keep posted for news on our swimming program at Splash to help students become more confident and safe swimmers. All of our prep to two students will be attending as well as a limited amount of spots for our grade 3/4s. We will be running a swimming safety session for students who are not attending in the classroom.
