💛 Welcome Back & Vacation Care Highlights!

We have loved welcoming everyone back for Term 2! It has been so lovely hearing about the children’s holiday adventures and seeing friendships reconnect as we settle back into the routine of OSHC.

Over the school holidays, our program was filled with exciting opportunities for children to explore, create, and connect. We were lucky to be part of a wide range of engaging incursions and excursions, including Active Warriors, Remote Control Racing, The Amazing Race, and visits to Healesville Sanctuary and local community spaces . These experiences provided children with opportunities to build confidence, work as part of a team, and explore the wider community in meaningful and fun ways.

Back at the service, children also enjoyed a balance of active, creative, and calming experiences. From energetic group games and challenges, to creative chalk drawing with fun prompts, children were able to express their ideas in unique and imaginative ways. Indoors, quieter moments such as puzzle challenges and sensory play with our sensory tiles supported problem-solving, focus, and provided a calm space for children to regulate and engage at their own pace.

It has been wonderful to see children moving confidently between different types of play, strengthening friendships and building a strong sense of belonging within our OSHC community.

As we begin the term, we are excited to continue building on these interests, with opportunities for children to design their own games, explore creative projects, and engage in hands-on sensory experiences.
