MAG Rocks the American Hotel - Sunday August 3, 1pm to 6pm
Experience the energy as up to 17 rock bands from Years 2 to 12 hit the stage in an unforgettable showcase of student talent. From powerful riffs to catchy melodies, our young musicians are ready to rock the house!
Run Echuca Moama - Sunday August 3, 9am to 9:40am
This Sunday, August 3, MAG Drumline A will be performing at Hopwood Gardens, Echuca from 9am, supporting the runners in the Run Echuca Moama event. Their lively beats will surely boost the spirits of all participants as they pass by.
Bendigo Eisteddfod - Ulumbarra Theatre - Thursday August 7
On Thursday next week, the Jr Singers and Snr Choir head to Bendigo to compete in the prestigious Bendigo Eisteddfod Choir category. We wish them all the best as they represent MAG with pride and passion!
Finally, a huge congratulations to Oliver Knight (Year 7) for his standout performance of ‘Teneriffe Sea’ by Ed Sheeran at this Wednesday’s assembly. Oliver’s dedication and musical talent created a beautiful moment that left us all awe-struck.
Well done to all our performers—you continue to inspire and entertain us!
Hannah McCleary Excels at the Follow Your Dreams Dance Competition
Congratulations to Year 6 student Hannah McCleary, who recently competed in the Follow Your Dreams dance competition in Temora, NSW. Hannah delivered outstanding performances across multiple styles, achieving the following results:
- 1st – Contemporary
- 2nd – Jazz
- 2nd – Hip Hop
- 3rd – Musical Theatre
- Champion Dancer – Runner-Up
This is a wonderful reflection of Hannah’s dedication, creativity and versatility as a performer. Well done, Hannah, we’re proud to see you pursuing your passions with excellence!
2025 Extra-Curricular Tuition Applications
We offer a variety of instruments available for students to learn through our extra-curricular music program.
For students interested in participating in our Extra-curricular tuition program, a range of percussion, brass, woodwind and string instruments are available to learn. Students also have the opportunity to join our Brass/Woodwind ‘Step Up’ program or a Rock Band.
