AFL Squad Kicks Off in Style

Our brand new AFL Squad hit the ground running with our first training session at 7:45 am on Thursday 24th July. Despite the 2-degree chill and a frost-covered oval, 24 dedicated students showed up with energy and enthusiasm, setting the tone for a strong season ahead. The session focused on fundamental skills, with an emphasis on clean hands, both off the ground and under pressure. It was a fantastic introduction to our squad, with great intensity and a positive attitude from all involved.

If you're keen to get involved and haven't signed up, please see Mr Darcy Hall or contact him at dhall@moamagrammar.nsw.edu.au.

Important reminders:

  • Please bring a mouthguard, boots and a water bottle to every session.
  • Pack a spare pair of socks, as the morning dew can make for soggy boots!

We’re looking forward to building momentum and seeing even more students out on the field!

AFL Umpiring Opportunities

Are you currently umpiring football on the weekends or interested in learning more about AFL umpiring? We’re looking to connect with students who are already involved or keen to get involved in umpiring through school-based opportunities and games.

Umpiring is a great way to build confidence, stay active, and earn some extra money while contributing to the game. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, there are opportunities available to support local school and community matches.

If you are interested or already an umpire, please email Mr Darcy Hall at dhall@moamagrammar.nsw.edu.au to express your interest and find out more.
