From the Principal

Term 3 Commences – Welcome back!

As our school community returned from the mid-year break, it has been terrific to personally engage with our staff, students and families in various settings over the past fortnight. I very much enjoyed hearing how members of our community spent their time over the holiday period and had the privilege of listening to each person’s holiday highlights.

A common theme that emerged through my conversations was that our students would have preferred a longer break and that our families would have preferred a shorter one!

We have had a terrific start to Term 3, commencing on Monday 21 July with a Staff Professional Learning Day. The key focus of our staff day was collaborative planning time for our Primary and Secondary teaching staff to support ongoing continuous improvement in addition to individual staff preparation time to support school readiness for student arrival on Tuesday 22 July.

Whilst I reference the start of the Term, it would be remiss of me not to thank and acknowledge those staff who worked through the school holiday period, and specifically Year 12 teachers who ran holiday sessions to support the HSC class of 2025.

Our start to the term has been a most smooth one thanks to the collective work of our outstanding staff team.

I take this opportunity to warmly welcome and introduce the following new staff to our school for the start of Term 3.

Claudia Moore joins us from Kyabram P-12 College and has been appointed as a Secondary PDHPE teacher.
