We have been invited to create costumes for the Beaufort Steam Punk Market in October.

We are collecting small boxes, large drink bottles, plastic lids, tubing, cogs, small metal items, springs, plastic pots, funnels etc to create Steam Punk themed jetpacks, hats or wings in the senior classes. Donations are greatly appreciated. A box will be left inside the main building area for collections. Many thanks in advance. 

Safety and Hygiene:

In Year Four, students considered safety and hygiene considerations in the kitchen and work environment. We enjoyed making scones following steps of a recipe and eating the successfully baked goods!

Habitats:

In Year 1/2, We have been learning about different habitats and the animals which live in different environments. 

Here are two examples of a desert and rainforest habitat.

Inventions:

In Year 5/6, students created an invention to present to the 'Shark Tank'  judges. The variety and creative ideas of inventions was astonishing. We had camping pets washers, pet fluff brushes, parallel parking aids, medicine dispencing watches, filter cleaners, mini windcreen wipers to name a few. 

Plant growing:

In Foundation, we have been investigating what plants need to grow. We measured how our grass seeds grew each week and tested other examples in different climates and growing conditions. On Monday, students painted a flower pot with their Grade 6 buddies and will be planting seedlings this week to take home and care for.
