Junior School Report

Welcome back to Term 2!

It has been fantastic to see our Year 7 and 8 students return with a positive attitude and ready for another busy term of learning and involvement in school life.

A highlight already this term was the Division Athletics competition held on 7th May. We had many students represent the college with pride, demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, determination and teamwork throughout the day. We congratulate all students who participated and thank them for the way they represented our school.

Families are reminded to keep an eye on Compass for any additional information relating to these events.

We would also like to remind families about the importance of student planners. All students are required to have their school planner with them at all times as it acts as their “ticket” around the school. Students must bring their planner to every class each day, and it forms part of the school uniform expectations. Students who do not have their planner with them may receive a uniform infraction. If a planner has been lost, replacement planners can be purchased from the Front Office.

As the weather becomes colder, students are permitted to wear a plain black long-sleeve top underneath their PE uniform for warmth. However, students are reminded that jumpers with hoods are not part of the school uniform and are not permitted at school.

We would like to remind families that blazers are required to be worn to and from school throughout Terms 2 and 3. If there are any concerns or challenges regarding this expectation, please do not hesitate to get in touch so we can provide support.

We look forward to another successful and productive term in Junior School.
