GRADUATION CEREMONY YEAR 12

Class of 2024

Graduation Ceremony 2024

The Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2024 will be held on Thursday 26 September 2024 commencing at 9.30am. It is anticipated the Ceremony will conclude at approximately 11.30am. At this time, you are also invited to join students, staff and official guests for light refreshments.

With health and safety being a priority, we must limit the number of people to students, family members & staff. Only two family members per student can attend the Graduation Ceremony. The event will, however, be live streamed and recorded for the enjoyment of extended family and friends.

Family members will be escorted to allocated seating. Tickets are not needed and the allocated seating may not be moved or changed. Please arrive in time to be seated by 9.15am.

Students are to wear full school uniform to the Graduation Ceremony. In particular,

this means black shoes must be worn & shorts are NOT to be worn.

Graduation Gowns

Graduation Gowns have been specifically ordered for each Year 12 student and will be distributed after the Graduation Rehearsal on Wednesday 25 September. The cost of the gown is $30.00. Students will keep these gowns and will also receive a commemorative sash as a gift from the College to our Year 12 students.

Thank you to the many families who have already paid for their gowns. If you are still to make that payment, you can do this via School Bytes or at the College Office. Payment should be finalised by 20 September 2024. Any family genuinely unable to meet this cost should contact Anjani Bachu or Kellie Boyd, as soon as possible, so we may assist.

Graduation Rehearsal

This will be held from 8am on Wednesday 25 September. Along with the distribution of Graduation Gowns, the formalities and seating arrangements will also be outlined and rehearsed. Students will have a specific sitting order and will have a specific location for entry to the hall as part of the Graduating Class of 2024 Entry Procession.

It is important that all students attend the Rehearsal to learn about these matters prior to the morning of their Graduation Ceremony.

More information relating to the Graduation Rehearsal and Ceremony will be distributed in the weeks ahead. We look forward to celebrating this significant event with you and your child.
