Saints Unplugged

Our final Unplugged Junior for the year is on Thursday 7 November. The show starts at 6pm and entry is via the Scott St entrance. Come and support our wonderful junior music students in their final solo performances. Hospitality will again provide delicious light meals, desserts and refreshments from 5:30pm. Please bring your loose change as there is a gold coin donation as entry and there will be a raffle to raise funds for the Music Department to purchase new instruments. We hope to see you there.

Awards night

The annual Awards Evening is on Friday 15 November. The CSC Wind Ensemble, Saints Choir, Guitar Ensemble and Big Band are performing there. Please join us for our final performances of the year whether your son is receiving an award or not. 

Mass musicians and cantors

Every term, the College has a major Mass. Our musicians and cantors provide the music for this, taking time out of class to rehearse the music so that it will run smoothly. The Valedictory Mass was no exception. Congratulations and thank you to all the young men who have participated in music ministry throughout the year, and a special mention to those who put themselves out there by performing solos. Our Masses are made all the more special by the music you provide. Saints very much appreciates your service to these important events that contribute to the culture of our college.

Reminder

If your son is unable to attend rehearsals or lessons for any reason – illness, assessment, transport issues etc., please ensure that he sends an email or Teams message to the ensemble director or instrumental music teacher as a matter of courtesy. Please let them know with as much notice as possible so schedules/plans can be rearranged. Many students are good at doing this already, but some need reminding to do so.
