VCE VM News

The VCE VM students have had a fantastic start to the year. They are settling well into their new timetable, attending regular classes at school from Monday to Wednesday, and spending Thursdays and Fridays either at their VET courses or participating in work placements. Several students have already begun their placements across a range of industries, including agriculture, hospitality, metalwork, and embroidery.
In class, students have been developing their understanding of employability and interpersonal skills, focusing on how these transferable skills can be applied in both everyday life and the workplace. Learning about workplace safety has also been a key focus, ensuring students understand their rights and responsibilities as they prepare to enter the workforce.
This year will also see an increased focus on integrated projects, with many exciting ideas already being planned — so watch this space!
