Positive Behaviour for Learning

At our school, we believe that for students to excel academically, they must first feel safe, valued, and understood. Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) is the evidence-based framework we use to create a school culture where every student can thrive.

Rather than focusing on what students should not do, PBL shifts the spotlight to what they can do. It provides a clear, consistent language, expectations and routines for success that empowers our students to navigate their educational journey with confidence.

This week at Holy Cross, we are chatting with our students about how we can show love and respect for our school buildings. Our special focus is on keeping our toilets clean and tidy.

We would love for you to help us reinforce this at home! You can help by reminding your child that leaving the restroom clean is a wonderful way to show kindness to the next student using it. We know accidents can happen, but we are encouraging everyone to take their time and use the facilities just the way they have been taught. Let’s work together to keep our school sparkling!
