New Kiss & Drop

We are doing our best to keep our Traffic School looking sharp and our students safe. To help preserve the asphalt and those bright road markings the kids love, we’re making a few small tweaks to our morning drop-off starting this Monday.

Morning Drop-Off :

  • The Centre Area:  For improved safety as well as protecting the paintwork and asphalt, we ask that parents avoid parking in the centre of the Traffic School area during the morning.
  • Kiss & Drop: You are more than welcome to use this area for a quick "Kiss & Drop"—just follow the road markings and pull over to the side to let your children out safely.
  • Plenty of Room: Our traffic audit has found there are usually lots of empty parking spaces right at the front of the school, particulalry in the morning. To assist with this, we have asked staff to park in the bays furthest from the school.

A Quick Note on the Morning Chain: We’ll be locking the boundary chain promptly at 8.50am at the start of the school day.  Using the front parking bays in the morning helps us avoid having to track down vehicle owners to move their cars once the day has begun!

What about Afternoons? We know pick-up can be a bit busier! If the front parking is full in the afternoon, you are still welcome to use the Traffic School area as overflow parking if no other spots remain. We will review this as the term progresses.

Thank you so much for your support in keeping our school grounds beautiful and our mornings running smoothly!

nForma Portal

With the Operoo platform ceased operations in Australia at the start of this year,  Holy Cross is streamlining how we connect with our families.

We recognise that, in the past, having multiple communication channels caused confusion. To simplify school processes and ensure you always know where to find important information, Holy Cross has officially moved to the nForma Parent Portal.

The nForma Portal will become our central platform for many of the tools you may be familiar with. It will replace:

  • Operoo
  • Attendance notifications
  • Student reports
  • First aid notices
  • We will also aim to migrate the newsletter to this platform in the coming weeks.

This change will make it easier for families to access all key school information in one place.

Before the 2026 school year begins, you will need to:

  1. Download the nForma app: Play Store  App Store
  2. Register using the email address currently on file with the school.
  3. Update your child’s medical profile once your account is set up. Please note this part may be easier to do through a web browser rather than the app as some functions might be unavailable.

You will have received an email with a how-to guide attached.  Please feel free to contact the school should you have any problems.

Thank you for your support as we continue to enhance the way we connect with our school community.

All students attending Holy Cross Primary School have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.
