Principal's Message

Parking Reminder

We kindly remind all parents and carers not to stop or park in the Keep Clear zones outside the school. These areas are marked to ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic and, most importantly, to help keep our students, families, and staff safe.

Please be aware that Maroondah City Council regularly monitors and enforces parking restrictions around the school. Council officers may issue infringement notices to vehicles.

We ask all members of our school community to respect these parking rules and to treat Council officers with respect as they carry out their role in helping to keep our roads safe for everyone.

By following the signage and allowing a little extra time for drop-off and pick-up, we can all contribute to a safer and more positive environment for our students and the wider community.

Volunteering

If you are considering volunteering at Yarra Road Primary School we kindly ask that you complete the online training and also present your Working with Children’s Check to the office.

Winter Wonderland Disco

We have our PA Winter Wonderland Disco this week, and I would like to thank all the Parent Association members for their planning and support in organising the Disco. We are looking forward to an amazing event.

Lost Property

Just a reminder to all parents and carers to label all items your child brings to school (e.g. jumpers, toys, water bottles). We do try to return all items to their owner and this is much easier if items are labelled with a first and last name.
