Biderap - Senior Girl

We are well and truly back in the swing of Term 3! The girls have hit the ground running, with strong attendance in schools and a joyful, collaborative spirit throughout the house, that even the winter weather has failed to dampen! 

Our Year 9 students have enjoyed some incredible camp experiences. Hayley and Cata travelled through Central Australia, while Jaydah and Camille explored the Tiwi Islands and the Northern Territory. Meanwhile, RJ and Lexi are spending the term at Marshmead in Mallacoota, embracing new challenges and opportunities for growth. 

Weekends have been packed with basketball and football games, keeping everyone active and engaged. There have also been plenty of opportunities to enjoy the excitement of AFL matches, as well as a trip to the movies to watch Spider-Man. 

Students have been getting creative in our No Bake sessions, preparing delicious recipes to share, and dancing up a storm during Headspace Hip Hop workshops. One of the highlights of the term was a visit from Richmond AFL players, who spent time with the girls and shared their experiences. 

The house has also been abuzz with creativity as students prepare artwork for the upcoming MITS Celebration of the Arts. This special event will celebrate culture, creativity, and 50 years of Deadly, showcasing the talents and stories of our students and community. 

It has been wonderful to see the girls embracing every opportunity, supporting one another, and bringing such positive energy to the house. We are looking forward to all that the rest of Term 3 has in store!
