Lenten Appeal

Thank you to all the students who have donated to this year’s Lenten Appeal so far! 

As a reminder, all funds raised over the appeal will go to our yearly fundraiser for Australian Marist Solidarity who support our partners across Asia and the Pacific, helping deliver inclusive education to children who might otherwise go without. 

A huge thanks to the below Houses + Primary who have organised the following initiatives:

Harold House – Students are asked to bring in a bag of lollies over the appeal. The lollies will be used to make lolly bags which will be sold at the Easter Fundraiser. 

Rush House – Students are asked to bring in a bag of wrapped chocolates. These will be used as prizes for the games at the Easter Fundraiser. 

Ignatius House – Mr Taylor has organised a meat tray from the wonderful Meat at Billy’s – this will be raffled before the end of term. Make sure you hold onto your raffle tickets!!  

Gilroy House – During your House meeting on Tuesday the 17th of March, your captains will be cooking a BBQ and tap machines will be available during this time to contribute to the appeal. Please refer to the email sent from Mr Gillett on the 5/3. 

Primary Students – Our Primary Can Drive kicked off and will conclude on the 25th of March. Students are encouraged to bring donations of soft drink cans into their classrooms, where each class will collect and tally their total. All cans will then be sold at College fundraisers throughout the year with all proceeds going back to Australian Marist Solidarity. 

Our Mission leaders will continue to visit the high school PGs on a Thursday or Friday to request either monetary donations or collect the sweets.
