Marvellous Monican

For the month of June, we would like to award the Marvellous Monican to Summer Maxwell (12 Blue). Summer is an outstanding role model within the St Monica’s community, consistently demonstrating leadership, maturity, reliability, and dedication across all areas of College life. 

As Lead Dance Captain in the College Production, she has led with positivity, professionalism, and strong critical thinking skills, inspiring younger students and supporting her peers with encouragement and care. She is highly dependable and trusted by both staff and students alike.

Her performances in the Dance Showcase were exceptional, highlighting her talent, confidence, and stage presence. She consistently strives for excellence and her artistic growth this year has been outstanding. 

In Year 12 Theatre Studies, Summer has also excelled both as a lighting technician and performer in the VCE performance of DNA, showing creativity, versatility, and a strong sense of responsibility.

In the classroom, Summer maintains a consistently strong work ethic and is an amazing team player who contributes positively to every environment she is part of. Her diligence, initiative, and willingness to support others make her a highly respected member of the College community.

Summer is a true example of hard work, determination and endeavour and is deserving of being named Marvellous Monican.
