Chess

Over the past few weeks, we have been training for the chess competition, which is happening next week.
Chess is good for you because it improves concentration, memory, problem-solving, patience, and decision-making skills. It encourages strategic and creative thinking, helps build resilience when mistakes happen, and can also be a fun way to relax and connect with other people.
Eight students from years 3-6 will travel to Tumut next Wednesday to compete against schools from our region.
Good luck to all students who have been diligently giving up their break times to improve their chess skills!
