First Eucharist

Dear Lord, 

We thank You and praise You for the most precious gift of the Holy Eucharist. 

We ask You to bless all those who are receiving Your Body for the first time.

Fill their hearts with joy, wonder, and a deep love for You.

Guide them to turn to You for comfort, guidance, and wisdom as they grow into full discipleship, and keep them close to Your heart, now and always.

What is LifeLink Day?

The LifeLink Day Initiative was established in 1999…

To promote understanding of the Church’s response to people in need within the community.

To instil in Catholic students attending Archdiocesan Schools, a sense of responsibility for caring for those less fortunate.

To provide education and information of the work the LifeLink social service agencies, which help many thousands of Western Australians in need each year.

To encourage a “practical demonstration of Faith” by asking students, teachers and schools to organise a special fundraising event for LifeLink Day, with the proceeds aiding people in real need within the community.

LifeLink provides a wonderful opportunity for students attending Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Perth to join together to show their support for the Church’s social service agencies – agencies which on behalf of us all, reach out to provide practical care and direct assistance to thousands of people in need each year.
