Welcome to our busiest term in the Art Room! 

Preparations are well underway for both our Art Exhibition and Performing Arts concert, with children across all year levels finishing off art pieces to display, and beginning to make costume and prop items for their grade's performance. It's an exciting time!

At the end of year, you may wish to support the Arts departments - we'd welcome some donations, but, after our Arts Week has concluded, please! :) 

🎨 Help Us Fill Our Art Room!

Do you have art, craft or costume supplies sitting around at home that you no longer need?

Our Visual and Performing Arts programs are always looking for donations of clean, usable materials that can be given a second life in the hands of our students!

We are especially on the lookout for:

🎨 Art & Craft Supplies

• Yarn, wool and string
• Fabric of any kind — offcuts, scraps, old sheets, rolls, etc.
• Sewing supplies
• Paint and brushes
• Scrapbooking and coloured paper
• Markers and textas
• Pipe cleaners, pom poms and craft sticks
• Stuffing
• Sequins, glitter and other embellishments
• Small, interesting or unusual pieces of plastic and other materials that could be transformed into sculptures or artworks

🎭 Performing Arts & Concert ItemsWe are also always collecting items that can be used for our school performances, concerts and productions, including:

• Sunglasses and glasses (we can remove the lenses!)
• Hats and caps
• Suspenders
• Costume pieces and accessories
• Scarves, bags and jewellery
• Props
• Interesting clothing or fabric pieces
• Anything wonderfully weird that might become part of a costume or stage production!

Have something else?

If you're having a clear-out and think something could be useful for our students, please don't throw it out before checking with us! We love finding creative ways to turn everyday objects and unwanted materials into something new.

Every donation helps us provide students with more opportunities to create, perform, experiment and let their imaginations run wild.
