Assistant Principal's Report

This week’s e-safe topic: How to Set Up Parental Controls for iPhone and Android
The links below take parents to fact sheets which outline step-by-step, how to set up parental controls for iPhone and Android devices. The settings on an Android device allow you to prescribe certain rules for when your child is using it. The parental controls on iPhones allow you to block or restrict certain apps, features, content, downloads, or purchases.

Upcoming Camps - Grade 3/4 & 5/6
The Grade 3/4 Log Cabin Camp (Creswick) and Grade 5/6 Melbourne Camp are coming up at the end of Term 3 in September. We are still in the very early stages of planning for these camps and they have not yet been endorsed by School Council, however, I wanted to flag these camps nice and early so families have as much time as possible to plan for the associated costs. We anticipate both camps will cost between $400 and $450 per student. Families eligible for the Camps Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) may choose to use all or part of this funding to subsidise the cost.
If families would like to set up a payment plan so these expenses can be chipped-away at over the next few months, please contact the office.
Real Food Lunchboxes
A sincere thank you to Peta for running the Real Food Lunchboxes workshop on Tuesday. This is the fourth year in a row Peta has offered this workshop to our community. I am sure the families who attended would have collected some wonderful, heathy ideas to try.
School Photos
Leading Image have informed us of a delay with the processing of the school photos. We are expecting photos to arrive next week. We will send these home in student bags.
