Well done to Lucy who posted the fastest time in four events. Amazing stuff! Many thanks to Sophie Hage for assisting and well done to all the girls on their performances and behaviour. It was great to see you cheer each other on from the side of the pool, plus support each other at the start and end of races.

First Wins!

Well done to Ms Zappia’s Year 5/6 basketball team who picked up their first win on Wednesday with a 15-point victory over St Anthony’s! Quinn Kidd displayed some razzle dazzle on her way to 13 points.

Our Year 5/6 cricketers also picked up their first win on Wednesday with a crushing 50 run win over Seymour. Evie White starred with the bat.

Our Year 4/5/6 Volleyballers are not far away from their first win. Twice now we have lost 1 set to 2 but scored more points overall than the opposition. Our serving has been getting better every week.

Some Summer Sports Winding Up

A number of our summer netball teams have finished their seasons. Well done to all teams for fighting it out in some tough divisions. It’s been great to see you improve. Our brand new Year 3 teams should be particularly proud of their first up seasons. Many thanks to all of our coaches for all their time and effort and for making things fun for the girls.

Our Loreto Blue Sub Junior 1 team has made it through to the finals, finishing in 3rd place. Chetine and her team face East Marden in a knockout final tonight… weather permitting!

We have had a number of tennis players representing Loreto at Rostrevor Tennis Club. The girls have had a great summer and it’s pleasing to see really strong numbers in our Todd Perry Coaching Sessions.
