Future Teacher Scholarships

Considering a career in teaching? If you're a HSC student, university student or industry professional eager to make a difference, now is the time to apply for a NSW Department of Education future teacher scholarship.

Each year, the department offers a range of scholarship opportunities for HSC students. Successful applicants of the future teacher scholarship programs will receive a range of benefits, including financial support whilst studying and a permanent teaching position in a NSW public school upon successful completion of their studies. 

Applications close Friday 12 September 2025, 11:59 pm (AEST).
