WELLBEING @ WYNDHAM

Wear it Purple Day

On Friday 29 August we celebrated "Wear it Purple Day" which is a day of celebrating identity and inclusion. We value each student that attends Wyndham College and wholeheartedly believe that this is a school where everyone belongs. Students were able to collect brochures for LGBQTI+ support services, stickers, temporary tattoos, lollipops, and were able to take a "glowing selfie." The theme for this year was "Bold Voices - Bright Futures" and we are certain that all of our students have the potential for bold and bright futures.

Bullying No Way Week

Bullying No Way Week ran from 11 to 15 August.

This year’s theme was “Be bold. Be kind. Speak up.”

At Wyndham we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment where everyone feels they belong.

Self Care September

Self Care September has been an exciting event in our school for the last few years. Students and staff are able to participate in activities that are designed to be self care, or to inspire greater self care.

During the pandemic, the idea of self care was everywhere, and yet the focus on self care seems to have faded. But we do in fact need to prioritise our energy levels and mental load, especially coming into "exam season". Activities for the students will take place in the library at recess.

RUOK?

#savethedate - RUOK? Day is on Thursday 12 September.

Activities for lunch and recess are in the planning stages and are sure to be fun.
