Physical Education & Sport

with Miss Joannidis

As we reach the end of Term 4 and bid farewell to another remarkable school year, it's time to reflect on our achievements and celebrate the efforts of our incredible students. Here are some highlights from our Physical Education department from Term 4:

Girls 5/6 Volleyball Team's Outstanding Achievement

A huge congratulations to our Girls 5/6 Volleyball Team for their incredible effort in the district final. This achievement is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship. We are immensely proud of the whole team well done!

Rugby Gala Day Success:

Our Rugby Gala Day was a resounding success! Both teams exhibited tremendous effort, representing Roxburgh Park with pride. The atmosphere was filled with sportsmanship, camaraderie, and, most importantly, lots of fun. A big applause to all participants for their hard work and enthusiasm.

Swimming Lessons at 'Splash': Essential Water Safety Skills

Our students completed a week of swimming lessons at 'Splash,' where they not only honed their swimming skills but also acquired essential water safety skills. It's a vital aspect of our curriculum, ensuring that our students are confident and safe in and around water.

Wishing You a Safe and Exciting Holiday!

As the school year comes to a close, I want to extend my warmest wishes to each of you for a safe and enjoyable holiday. Take this time to relax, rejuvenate, and create lasting memories with family and friends. Thank you for your continued support and participation in our Physical Education programs.

Sport Captains

I would like to thank the tremendous effort of our four sport captains this year Akin, Omar, Adam & Isaac. Their help has been crucial throughout the year in setting up equipment, planning programs and engaging the whole school in sport activities. I wish them the very best as they move into high school next year.

Looking forward to another year of active learning, growth, and success in the upcoming school year. Stay safe and have a wonderful holiday break!

Warm regards,

Andrea Joannidis
