Kitchen Garden Program

We have had a busy fortnight in the garden all the rain and warm weather sure is helping things to grow.

Our Sweetcorn was planted because of the kind donations by Bunnings.  This is now growing strong and the children have been measuring themselves against it. The corn is now taller than a lot of the students.

We have started harvesting lettuce again.  Some lovely Cos Lettuce when home with our students who built the kitchen tables.

Our Senior Academy Builders working as a team:

We have finished spending our grant money from Stephanie Alexander and are trying to build all the wonderful things we brought.  This week we built two of our kitchen benches during Senior Academy time on Wednesday.  The students did a great job and we will test the benches out next week when we cook Turkey Burgers on Tuesday.
