Year Three/Four News 

What a busy couple of weeks it has been! As with the rest of the school, the Year Three/Four students enjoyed Book Week activities, including the whole school parade in the gym, followed by activities led by our student leaders. It was great to conclude the week with a visit from many parents and carers during our open classrooms, where students had the opportunity to share their work from the day and other pieces of work.

In our classrooms we have been building up the excitement towards the incursion/visit from Tony Bones (who attended our school last year and proved to be very popular). Please ensure you have provided permission for your child to attend this upcoming event.

Year 3 camp is coming up soon - early Term 4 in fact! A big thank you to those famililes who have already returned the medical forms to school. Please keep sending these in before the end of term, so that any relevant information can be forwarded to the camp.

Broad brimmed hats need to be worn during play times. Please ensure your child's name is clearly on their hat, should it need to be returned to them. Students (who have prepaid) will have the opportunity to select a gift for the important men in their lives as part of Father's Day celebrations on the weekend. Sending a bag to school with your child will help to keep these important gifts 'under wraps'. As the weather warms up, it is even more important that you child is bringing their named, water bottle to school. And on a final note, please check in with your child that they have remembered to pack their fully charged iPad, ready for a full day of learning.
