📣 BPS SAUSAGE SIZZLE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🌭

Bunyip Primary School will be running a Sausage Sizzle stall at the Bunyip Community Market on Sunday 30th August, and we’d love your help!

We’re looking for volunteers to help with:

🌭 Cooking sausages

💰 Taking orders and money

🥤 Selling drinks

 

We’re hoping to have at least 4 volunteers per shift.

 

⏰ Shifts:

• 7:30am – 10:00am

• 10:00am – 1:00pm

 

All proceeds will go towards Bunyip Primary School and the Grade 6 Graduation. 

 

If you’re available, it’s a great way to support the school and help to make the Grade 6 Graduation extra special. 

 

If you can lend a hand, please email us:bunyip.ps@education.vic.gov.au with your preferred shift time or swing past the office to fill in your name on the run sheet.

HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT JOINING PARENTS & FRIENDS?

Bunyip Primary School's Parents & Friends Committee is always looking for more parents, grandparents and carers to get involved.

 

Helping can look different for everyone. 

 

It might mean:

  • lending a hand at Breakfast Club
  • helping organise a fundraiser
  • taking the CDS cans to Drouin be recycled
  • assisting at a school or community event, or 
  • taking on a small P&F role.

 

Every contribution makes a difference.

 

There are several roles available (which only take up about 15 minutes a week), but there is never any pressure to take on more than you are willing. Whether you can help regularly or just occasionally, we'd love to have you involved.

 

NEXT P&F MEETING

Our next Parents & Friends meeting is Wednesday, September 9th at 2.30pm in the Breakfast Club Room. Come along, have a cuppa, and see what we are all about.

 

BREAKFAST CLUB HELPERS NEEDED! 

Our Breakfast Club at Bunyip Primary School continues to grow, which is wonderful to see… but it also means we need more helping hands to keep up with demand.

 

Breakfast Club runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning, and we are currently looking for more parent and grandparent volunteers across all days.

 

Even if you cannot commit regularly, helping occasionally as a fill-in can make a huge difference and help ensure we can continue offering this important program to our students.

 

If you would be interested in helping regularly, or just every now and then, please let the school office know.

 

COMMUNITY PANTRY

Don’t forget to check out the Community Pantry on the shelves outside the Breakfast Club Room. It’s open to all parents and carers at any time. It is stocked with a rotating selection of non-perishable food items, essentials, and fresh fruit. You are welcome to help yourself any time. 

This food is generously supplied by Food Bank and maintained by Parents & Friends.
