CPS Mother’s Day Lunch - don’t miss out!
Tickets are selling fast for this year's CPS Mother’s Day Lunch and the delicious menu has just been finalised.
Tickets are available via Qkr until this Sunday 3rd May so get in quick to make sure you don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to connect and celebrate with other CPS mums.

MENU
Entree (shared)
Local calamari lightly fried, shaved fennel and orange salad, basil aioli. (GF, DFO)
Roasted pepper carpaccio, anchovy, capers, whipped feta, Sicilian dressing. (V, VGO)
Roasted pumpkin, smoked scamorza, rosemary, paprika aioli
Traditional Pugliese focaccia, served with compound butter and Chef Joey D’s chilli crisp.
Pasta main (alternate drop)
Spinach and ricotta ravioli, Napoli sugo, gratinated fior di latte. (V)
Carnaroli rice with scallops, blue swimmer crab, crustacean bisque. (GF, DFO)
Dessert (shared)
Sicilian-style fried doughnuts, cinnamon sugar, pistachio cream, homemade gelato.
Coffee-soaked housemade savoiardi, whipped mascarpone, secret liqueur.
Beverages are not included but can be purchased individually (thankfully there will be no hassles trying to split bills this year!)

PFA Meeting next Monday 4th May
The next CPS Parents & Friends Association meeting will be held this coming Monday 4th May from 7pm in the staffroom. All welcome - we’d love to see you there!
Mother’s & Special Persons Stall
The PFA will be holding the Mothers & Special Person’s Day Stall next Friday 8th May.
There will be a gorgeous selection of gifts available for children to purchase, with prices ranging between $2-$6 per gift. If you would like your child/ren to purchase gifts for the special women in their lives, please ensure you send cash to school next Friday.
Each class will visit the stall at an allocated time during the morning, with each child permitted to buy one gift during the allocated time. Students are welcome to return to the stall at recess time to buy additional gifts if they wish (i.e. for grandmothers).
Volunteers needed!
We’re currently seeking parent volunteers to assist with both wrapping gifts for the Mothers Day stall, and helping out at the stall itself on the day:
- Wrapping - Friday 1st May 9am-11am in staffroom
- Stall - Friday 9th May 9am-12pm in the hall/gym

Beanies back on sale via Qkr
Our awesome CPS beanies are once again on sale via Qkr, just in time for winter! These high-quality beanies can be worn as part of the official CPS school uniform. Not only will they help keep our kids warm this winter but are a great way to show off school pride around the community.
The beanies are one-size-fits-most and are available to order now via Qkr for just $15. Orders will be delivered to classrooms once a week during the first month of Term 2.
