What's Happening

THANK YOU CPS COMMUNITY!
A huge thank you to our amazing CPS community for your wonderful support of this year’s head shaving event, which raised well over $1,000 for Bowel Cancer Australia. We received some incredibly generous donations and the students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to shave Nurse Tahlia’s head—as well as mine!
As many of you know, our much-loved PE teacher, Marcus Champion, passed away after a short battle with bowel cancer in February 2019. In his memory, we have held an annual fun run to raise funds for Bowel Cancer Australia and over the past two years, we have also included staff head shaving events.
This year, our community raised an outstanding total of over $10,000, bringing our overall fundraising efforts to more than $50,000.
I am incredibly proud of what our amazing Carnegie community has achieved together.
